Maria "Julieta" Hernandez was born to Alejandra and Fidel Ureta in Sinaloa, Mexico on March 22, 1932. Julieta entered the Lords Kingdom on September , 2016.

Julieta came to Planada, California when she was 21 years old to visit her aunt. She then met Jesus Hernandez at CPC Camp, they were married in 1953, and started their family.

Julieta was an original founder of the "Sociedad Guadalupana" in 1960. She was an active member of "Los Crusillistas" since 1970 as well as the "Comite Mexicano". She was a devoted member of the Sacred...

Julieta came to Planada, California when she was 21 years old to visit her aunt. She then met Jesus Hernandez at CPC Camp, they were married in 1953, and started their family.

Julieta was an original founder of the "Sociedad Guadalupana" in 1960. She was an active member of "Los Crusillistas" since 1970 as well as the "Comite Mexicano". She was a devoted member of the Sacred Heart Church in Planada, she was very blessed to have gone to the Holy Land two times in her life.
Some of her favorite things to do were to cook for her church benefits, going to social church gatherings which included dancing with her church members and traveling, she took boat cruises all over Mexico. Her journey throughout life was to serve the Lord, her church, community and her spiritual organizations.
Julieta is preceded in death by her Husband, Jesus Hernandez; parents, Fidel and Alejandra Ureta; daughter, Maria Elena Garcia and her son, Fidel Hernandez.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Lara; son, Noe (Lucy) Hernandez; sister, Fandila Mendia; grandsons, Luis (Alma) Gonzalez, Ozzy (Jasmin) Hernandez, Willy Hernandez, Roman Hernandez, Damien Hernandez and Jesus Hernandez; granddaughter, Julieta Garcia and great-granddaughters, Patty Zamora, Isabel Gonzalez, Elvia Zamora and Vanessa Zamora; niece, Elma Barajas; nephew, Edric Mendia.

A vigil service with rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. with rosary at 6:00p.m., a funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 10:00a.m. at Sacred Heart Church located at 9317 Amistad Street Planada. Burial will follow immediately after services at Calvary Catholic Cemetery located at 260 West Child's Avenue Merced.
