As an advocate for education, Christine spent her early adult years as a teacher's aide at Weaver Union School. After a successful stint at entrepreneurship, Christine was truly known for her cornucopia of wisdom as well as her benevolent attitude and smile that would light up any room.

At church events, she was known for her shrimp creole and putting on church fashion shows. She held the consecrated role as a deaconess in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church.

While raising 5 honorable and respectable children she was always one to lend an ear and offer motherly advice to anyone who needed it, she never met a stranger. Christine was compassionate, a giver and a true example of living her life for Christ.
